We are here to break free!

Females Breaking Boundaries is for women who are done striving and ready to live whole, healed, and unshakably grounded in God’s truth.

Where this all began

Like so many women, I spent years at war with my body and my worth. I grew up in the ‘80s and ‘90s, swimming in diet culture, perfectionism, and silent shame. In college, I used restriction and bingeing to try and feel in control. I told myself I was fine, until one day, I wasn’t. The turning point came when I broke down in front of my husband. He asked me a simple question that changed everything: “Do you think it might help to explore getting some help for this?” That single question opened the door to my healing and gave life to this mission.

a journey of redemption

Healing didn’t come all at once. It came in layers. Through physical recovery after a traumatic boating accident in high school. Through learning to walk and run again. Through the long process of restoring my relationship with food and movement. And ultimately, through surrendering my life to Christ in 2016. When I was baptized, everything changed. My name. My purpose. My identity. I finally understood that I wasn’t broken. I was already named “very good” by God (Genesis 1:31). Females Breaking Boundaries is built on that truth.

The Vision

We are striving for a world where women are no longer at war with their bodies or their identity but confident in their worth and walking boldly in God’s design for their life.

Authentic

We tell the truth, even when it’s messy.

We share our stories without filters and name our struggles. We are living from a place of honesty, healing, and radical self acceptance through Christ.

Brave

We do the hard thing because freedom is worth it.

We break cycles, speak truth, and walk in faith even when our voices shake. We face what culture told us about our bodies and worth, and we choose to believe God’s truth instead.

Trailblazing

We lead new paths for the women coming behind us.

We don’t follow the rules culture handed us. We step boldly in faith and pave a new way where women can find freedom in their bodies and identities.
